StreamVault

Terms of use

Last updated 2 September 2026

1. The archive

StreamVault provides access to films whose copyright term has expired in the European Union. Access is free and provided without a guarantee of availability.

2. What you may do with the films

The films themselves are in the public domain: you may download, copy, re-edit and redistribute them, including commercially, without asking us. We claim no rights in them and grant none, because none are ours to grant.

3. What is ours

The site design, the artwork, the catalogue texts and the scans we produced ourselves are not part of the public domain material. Please ask before reusing those.

4. Accounts

An account is optional and stores only a watchlist and playback positions. We may close accounts used to scrape the archive in bulk.

5. Availability

Titles may be withdrawn if a rights question is raised, and restored if it resolves. We aim to explain withdrawals on the title page.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law the service is provided as is, and we exclude liability for interruption or loss of data.
